Our Services - Carer Advocacy
One-to-one support for families, partners and friends
Caring for a loved one with a serious mental illness can be challenging - especially in times of crisis - and sometimes you can feel very isolated or overwhelmed. Our team of dedicated Carer Advocates can offer you one-to-one help to support and empower you as a relative, partner or friend to cope effectively in helping your loved one’s recovery.
CAUSE is a peer-led which means it is run by carers for carers. We know from direct personal experience the issues carers can face. Whether you need just someone to talk to, guidance on finding your way around or accessing services, how to work with professionals, learning more about mental illness, support available for carers or dealing with other problems, we are here for you.
You can access one-to-one support either by organising a meeting with a Carer Advocate working in your area in a local office or at another location convenient.
To meet with a Carer Advocate near you simply call us on 028 90 650 650 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Carer Advocates also provide a lot of one-to-one telephone support via our Helpline.
