September 28, 2016
We are delighted to announce our new charity partnership with Connect Telecom
Our relationship with Connect Telecom began when one of their employees, Sarah Mathews, put on her dancing shoes for our annual Strictly Come Dancing in 2015 and raised over £2,000 for the charity liifting the championship title with her dance partner Stuart Bradford. Sarah then came to visit the charity about our communication needs in her role as a sales and marketing professional and streamlined communications for CAUSE. Providing a full portfolio of communication solutions, including mobiles, landlines and IT services,Connect is now going into its 10th year, and is the only Vodafone Platinum partner in NI.
CAUSE Fundraising Manager,Anne Tolerton Holland says, ‘Sarah has become a true friend of CAUSE,giving her spare time so freely and has since volunteered with CAUSE helping at bag packs and helping to recruit for this year’s Strictly. She has just successfully completed this year’s Belfast Half Marathon for us and now is training along with 25 others for this year’s Strictly dance event to take place on Saturday 19 November in Clayton Hotel,Belfast.Supporters like Sarah are invaluable and we thank her for all that she has done for CAUSE to date.’
Connect Telecom Director Scott Ritchie commented,‘Connect Telecom is delighted to partner with CAUSE,recognising the amazing work they do and as a valued customer to Connect. We have learnt a lot about what CAUSE does here in NI from Sarah’s involvement in fundraising for the charity. Some of the team members have directly benefitted from their services. We are delighted to support them in sponsorship of the Kube in November and as our charity partner of the year. The team is very excited about the coming year and how we can work together in partnership to raise more awareness and funds for CAUSE.’
