CAUSE has worked with the Royal College of Psychiatrists, service users and our colleagues in other leading mental health charities to profile mental health service issues in NI working together to produce the briefing paper. CAUSE CEO Maire Grattan stresses the need for constantly raising the profile of mental health issues with other key stakeholders:

‘This report is a really good example of what can happen when a range of organisations and individuals come together with genuine interest and passion sharing the objective of improving our local mental health services here in NI for those most affected by mental illness and who often go under the radar. I am delighted that CAUSE has the opportunity to participate and work on this area of policy with partners which addresses issues impacting on many carers.’
