Have you got drive, ambition and the will to succeed? Do you like interacting with people? Outgoing, friendly and approachable then this could be the role for you.

As an Appeals Volunteer you will be working with our fundraising team to help plan and implement fundraising appeals throughout Northern Ireland.

With all the information and materials you’ll need to carry out your role effectively, you will have support from our Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Co-ordinator, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

Each year CAUSE delivers four  main appeals:

  • Mental Health Awareness Week  Monday 13 to Sunday 19 May
  • Carers Week  Monday 10 - Sunday 16 June
  • World Mental Health Day  Thursday 10 October
  • Christmas

All which helps raise our profile and much needed income.  You will assist the fundraising manager and may be the lead on a specific appeal.

We are also currently seeking a Campaigns Co-ordinator from September 2019 to help with our 25th Anniversary in 2020!

This volunteer role may suit a student who is seeking a placement for an academic year or for a few months and who wishes to gain event management experience. By giving your time and sharing your skills and experience you will be making real difference to mental health carers in Northern Ireland by raising much needed funds!

We know that more than one in four of us will have a mental health problem during our lifetime.  For some of us it will be the toughest challenge we ever face. Now, more than ever, we need people like you to join our team and help us make sure that no one faces this challenge alone.
