The countdown to Christmas is on!

Black Friday (26th November this year) is generally regarded as the start of the Christmas shopping season.  But we like to start a little earlier by asking you to support CAUSE in whatever way you can as it’s time to start our festive fundraising!

Here are some cracker ways you can get involved:

Collection Box

Request a CAUSE collection box for your home or workplace and get all your friends and families drop in their loose change especially after a shopping spree or a night out or place collection boxes at your Christmas party at home, school or work!

CAUSE Christmas ECards

Would you like an ethical alternative to the paper waste of cards? Send an e-card this Christmas and give the cost of cards to your choice of charity. All it takes is a quick PayPal payment.

There's no sign-up required. Simple!

Get Crafty this Christmas

Deck the halls with boughs of holly, fa-la-la-la-la, la-la-la-la! Do you sell Christmas decorations which include a donation to CAUSE? Could you make some which could be sold to support CAUSE eg tree decorations, hanging garlands or table decorations

Christmas Competitions

Who doesn’t love a Christmas Competition – from a raffle to a best Christmas Jumper Contest or even an Elfie Selfie. There really is something for everyone. There is no reason this could not be done on an affordable scale with donations from  local businesses in your area such as a meal for 2 perhaps or even a turkey.  We also can provide you with Christmas Fireside quizzes.

Donate, donate donate

Giving regularly helps us to continue our support to many families, friends and partners caring for a loved one with a serious mental illness as it allows us to plan for our future projects and services. You can make a one off donation or give regularly. Your donation would go towards supporting over 10,000 carer contacts - whether face to face, by phone or online.  Make a donation to support our vital work.

Christmas Volunteering

Could you organise a collection in your local supermarket and get your friends and family to help.  We can send you collections cans, just let us know when and where you intend to have your collection day!

Christmas Event

Could you host a Christmas event to raise funds for CAUSE? This could be a fete, carol service, bake sale or party. You could even combine elements to really bring in the Christmas cheer.

It’s not too late to become a member if you are an unpaid mental health carer.  Our members care about mental health.  If you do too, we’d love you to join us today.

A standard one-year membership costs £10 but you can also make a donation along with your membership fee!

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas…

Christmas is the time for giving and the season of goodwill. Hopefully, this has given you some ideas for your festive fundraising for CAUSE to end 2021 triumphantly.
