Become a member

Our members care about mental health.  If you do too, we’d love you to join us today.

From the motivated and dedicated efforts of our volunteer founders, the establishment of support groups and the recruitment of the first member of staff marked the development of the wider range of advocacy and services we provide today and our members are at the heart of our work.

Our members give a voice to many people in Northern Ireland who support someone living with a complex mental illness– by pushing for change, sharing their experiences and helping to shape mental health services.

Become a CAUSE member and we’ll keep you up-to-date with all of the latest mental health news. We’ll let you know about our events and groups in your area. And we’ll support you to get your voice heard.

As a member, you can get involved in CAUSE’s work in all sorts of ways. There’s no pressure to do anything, but if you are keen to take action we'll support you every step of the way.  Potential options include:

  • taking part in surveys, focus groups and government consultations
  • sharing personal experiences to show the truth about caring for someone with a mental health problem
  • joining our regional campaigns
  • fundraising to support CAUSE's work

If you require any further information, please call the team on 028 90 650 650 or email: [email protected]

A standard one-year membership costs £10 but you can also make a donation along with your membership fee.
