Opening doors for CAUSE!

We are looking for individuals across Northern Ireland to help our Fundraising department raise awareness of CAUSE and help fundraise within their local area.  In order to support all of the services we provide, we need to fundraise and you will be a vital part of Community Fundraising Team. 

With all the information and materials you’ll need to carry out your role effectively, you will have support from our Fundraising Manager and Volunteering Co-ordinator, who will be on hand to answer any questions you may have. By giving your time and sharing your skills and experience you will be making real difference to mental health carers in Northern Ireland by raising much needed funds! 

What you will be doing in your local area

  • distributing information leaflets and event/campaign posters and manning information stands
  • attending cheques presentation
  • managing our local fundraising materials such as Collection Cans and wristbands
  • seeking and securing support from local companies and community organisations such as schools within your area
  • helping recruit support for our fundraising initiatives and campaigns
  • recruiting local Fundraising Buddies to assist at local fundraising activities, bag packs and other local events
  • help set up a fundraising group in your local area
  • being our eyes and ears within your community

You may wish to concentrate in one of the areas previously mentioned or keep an eye on all fundraising activity in your area.  It will depend on the hours you wish to volunteer with CAUSE.  

What we are looking for

  • A good team player
  • Organised and able to work on your own initiative
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office - office administration
  • Some experience of using databases/spreadsheets would be helpful
  • Enthusiastic and outgoing
  • A sound knowledge of your local area
  • Full training and support will be provided

Restrictions:  Must be 18 years or over

Distance and Location:     Across Northern Ireland in your local area
